The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) is excited to announce the call for abstract submissions for the upcoming annual food safety research conference. This year, the conference focuses on Emerging food contaminants: from PFAS and other POPs to Microplastics - Risks, Impacts and Regulation.

The event is supported by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and will be held in the Cercle Cité (Luxembourg City, entrance via Rue Genistre) on Monday, 28 September 2026 at 2 pm followed by a reception. Participation is free of charges, however, the registration is mandatory and will open soon.

Share your research findings and contribute to the field's collective knowledge! This is an excellent opportunity for you to promote your research activities. Abstract submission deadline to be considered for an oral or poster presentation is 4 May  2026 at 2pm. Submit an abstract (max. 250 words) via email indicating your affiliation.
