Migration of epoxidised soybean oil (ESBO)

Epoxidised soybean oil (ESBO) is used, among other things, as a plasticiser in the seals of jar lids to ensure a perfect seal, and has migrated into the product. The risk from occasional consumption is minimal. Only large-scale, repeated consumption of this product over time could pose a health risk.
